The Bill Johnson Memorial Gathering

On 26 September 2026, a memorial gathering for Bill Johnson was held at a venue in Broomfield, Colorado near where he'd been living. He passed away from cancer on 7 February 2026 (obituary). Amazingly, I'd met him at a cancer treatment center in Boulder in 2025 where we both were undergoing treatment. He was then accompanied by Alex Brown Bradley...who organized the Gathering.

There were at least 100 people attending on-site or virtually (my preliminary list available upon request). They included some of my fellow 2005 wihterovers, some of whom I had not seen since then.
