South Pole Winter 1963

1963 winterovers
I have been unable to unearth a photo of the winterovers...so the above image presents a list of them with a
dramatic photo of the first ski-equipped C-130 to land on the ice...at McMurdo, a few years earlier on 23 January
1960...alongside a more traditional form of Antarctic transportation (more info on that Air Force deployment).
