[Dave Vella tells me that "Bill" was the resident sheathbill that had flown into the picture, and "Spot" was a frozen USDA Prime whole hog had been discovered when cleaning out the GWR freezer...hence it was, well, past its prime.]  Here's a larger newer version:  Yes, there IS this color version on the back. Several of the list discrepancies can be resolved from the science sitreps. Tom arrived on 5 June and departed on 25 September, Jaquie arrived on 5 May and departed on 25 September, and Carol arrived on 5 June and departed sometime in October. All 3 of these scientists were off station on times while participating in Polar Duke cruises. As for the 5 missing ASA personnel...I have no idea. Photos thanks to Glenn Grant.
